Never understood why Macys shipping prices are so high. They want $11 for something thats not even heavy.

Well, its still good they provide a low ship minimum, or free ship to store. Years ago many items did not ship to store, and the minimum was $99. Lots of retailers over the years got worse, not better.

Guessing they choose an average amount that covers them in most order scenarios. Including accounting for those they ship free. What do I know though. But with this item, only need $3 filler to hit the minimum. Which is far less than $11.

So I've been a shipper for 20 years. $11 is the cost of labor to package and packaging and to have the carrier deliver to your door. That bag will weigh over 1lb so it will be billed at min. 2lbs. Maybe there is $2 buffer if shipped USPS parcel post. I wouldn't consider $11 high for that item, I'd consider it fair. Quoting shipping for large companies like Macy's is also extremely complicated. $11 might be there minimum if you live close to the point of origin. Not to mention they have a low free shipping threshold. I'd rather low
