usb-c and probably lasts much longer on a charge. but the oasis still has dedicated buttons, waterproofing and warm light. unsure how this kindle CPU compares to the oasis (for speed of navigation / page turning).

i actually hate the ergonomics of my oasis but the features i mentioned above keep me from trading in.
I have the same thought except two new features were important to me: syncing my Audible account to play audio books and USB-c charging after upgrading all my wires.

Buy 2 get $20 off, plus 20% trade-in discount and whatever GC you get for that trade-in ($75 for Oasis, only $5 for regular Kindles).
That makes it nearly $50 each for 2 with a throw-away trade-in. Pretty damn good. Tempted even to trade in my Oasis for two of these...

Hmm I get a message that basically tells me I can only buy one or else get an Amazon Business account. How did you buy 2?

Edit: Works with Amazon Business account!

Buy 2 promo has ended, and indeed Amazon doesn't allow two in one purchase unless it's a business account.

I don't know what to tell ya. I just checked my cart, it has the 2-pack promo $20 off, and I don't have a business account. Bizarre.

Does not qualify for the 20% trade in, I already submitted a trade in, 20% show in the 6.8 paperwhite and oasis not this one.

After my $15 trade in, $20 off for two, and $15 Amazon Day GC (??) I'm at $100 for two.

Bizarre indeed.

I think the extra $15 is 20% off one if the kindles.

That's what I'm seeing too. Weird my main account can't add 2 kindles but my alt (non business) adds it just fine.
I tried to stack amex points 30% off but it removed the kindle trade-in $15 off. I'm at 93 shipped with that method and this should preserve the 20% discount on another kindle.

Added two from this page to my cart (one blue and one black) and the $20 promo worked. It would not allow me to add two from the product page though.

My Kindle Paperwhite bought in 2014 is still good. I don't see any reason to change unless it had a 9" or larger screen.
