Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
$25 with 4k stick trade in. Hopefully will get a few more bucks from actual trade in but even if not probably worth $25 just to be able to use Alexa home theater (echo pair) for other HDMI inputs.
everytime i see a firestick deal posted, i expect something different but it has been the same sale price always.. why is this a deal again?
Agreed we just want the cube for $100 or bring out the stock of 2 gen cube for $60 again ( I know Amazon is sitting on a pile , time for them to go woot)
$140 for 3rd gen cube with no Pro remote is ridiculous. Also does anyone know what version of FireTV comes on the 3rd gen cubes going to need to be the one that blocks updates and more importantly boots to 3rd party launcher screen and with home button

These max sticks are really good (I own 3), but also consider 2nd gen ATV 4ks for $60-$70 in used condition from AMZN warehouse.
For a family streamer device, it's worth the extra $30-$35. Much more responsive/fluid interface. Will likely be performant much longer. And the "newer" silver ATV remotes don't suck.
I've had some glitches with the fire max sticks at times around arc and just general flakiness.
I've bought a couple of those used ATV4Ks in the past 2 months and all looked brand new.
In certain aspects it "feels" faster than a 4k stick. Other times, just as sluggish.
What I am finding incredibly frustrating as of late - I can't update apps as it keeps claiming I am out of space. I have to go in and clear data/cache and force a few reboots just to clear enough space to get an update to go through.

That's because 8gb of storage is insane 16gb cubes are just fine ( new cube's for $140 should be 32gb/4gb but the Same as old cube 16gb/2gb

Not a big fan of fire TV. It does a lot for the $$$ (especially if you got it on BF or prime day). However it is generally slower than alternatives in my experience and I'm not a fan of being more heavily steered toward amazon services. Shifted to Roku and am a bit happier.
