Embarrassing that Amazon charges this kind of money for what equates to a giant advertisement billboard in your living room. If you're spending $140, buy an Apple TV 4K.

I got last years model for $30 after trade in, but what makes this better than the 4k max is the ability to walk into my theater and say, "Alexa, turn on the theater."

This turns on my lights, receiver, amplifier, and projector with its built in IR blaster capabilities. It's like and echo dot and a Fire TV in one, but with a faster processor than either.

Im guessing you have a 12V trigger cable plugged into your amp from the receiver?

Yep! And I programmed the Fire Cube to send the "off" command twice for my projector when I say, "Alexa turn off the theater".
