The use case for this is: person who needs to charge things while at their normal work area where there's mains power (e.g., dorm room desk) but also needs to charge things when out and about *and* ***doesn't remember to charge their dedicated power bank***. This thing encourages you to keep it charged because it's your one and only charger that you by habit plug into the wall when you get home at the end of the day.
Another option is the 511, which is the same energy capacity but doesn't have the same 45W power output. The 511 is a little smaller (like about the size of a single 18650 cell (or more probably a 21700 cell) and it only has a single USB C port. Probably more pocketable than the 521, but is less flexible with only a single USB C port.
