They did adjust original prices across the store for items that are now excluded (ie: Haggar slacks were $60, now $44.99).
In-store electronic signage will now indicate if the item is "coupon eligible."
Those that shop in-store, please realize store level employees have not made these decisions. I know with the coupon starting today it's going to be a long weekend of people now realizing brands they got discounts on are no longer eligible and I'm bracing myself for some reactions.

Yep, I've been with the company long enough to remember when everything was eligible. Granted it was only 10/15% to open a kohls card back then and they did PYDs and you had to have a Kohls Card to earn kohls cash.

I was approached separately by 4 friendly associates asking if I needed help, telling me an item I was looking at was "eligible for the 20% off coupon", complimenting something I was looking at, and offering help logging into the Kohl's app when I was looking at my phone. I just felt like there was desperation in the air.
