I posted the 70" for about $470 a bunch of times via Walmart. I have the $480 deal from Costco during blackfriday 2020. You're going to hear all sorts of negative things about this tv. I would go back and do a search and read the comments. Personally for my use case I love this tv in my living room. You just have to turn off eco mode, turn up brightness, and it's a great 4k tv. It's no OLED but for the price it's awesome

if the negative reviews did sway users from buying, then how come you took the chance to buy it then? Curious to hear your perspective.

I have no idea if some negative reviews and rtings references swayed any opinions for potential buyers. For myself, at the time I knew inflation was going to rise substantially so it was the last opportunity to purchase a good 4k tv. I might have been wrong about inflation affecting tv prices.

With that being said, at the time I needed a tv for the living room but didn't want to spend a lot of money. The slickdeal was for the vizio v series 70" for $480 with Costco's 5 year warranty before they ended it this year. I thought that was a good enough deal for my use case

Garbage company,,,I was an early buyer of Vizio tv's and purchased one for my living room, it worked fine for a couple of years then only showed half a screen. The second tv I bought was in a guest bedroom and only used less than ten times, completely failed, not even a power light would come on. I also purchased a sound bar to improve the sound in my living room, that works occasionally. I would never buy this brand again unless you just want a short term tv.

Walmart currently has a 65" ONN Roku TV on sale for $298. It was available at many nearby stores yesterday, and is still showing as in stock at 3 stores near me. Will probably sell out quickly.

65" Onn Roku TV, model 100012587

Was tempted, but RTings says it has a bad viewing angle, and the room I want to use it in is very wide. Otherwise seems good for the price.
