I bought this last time it was around this price; some dipstick tried to budget-shame me because it wasn't NBS like Dymatize (with it's delicious and mysterious Bioengineered Food Ingredient).

If you're a fellow MYP Unflavored refugee and want an assessment from someone willing to put their money where their mouth is and take one for the team, this stuff is clean - right up there with MYP and NOW unflavored. In fact, I'm buying another bag to cut the 9 lbs of absolute doggsh*t Vitamin Shoppe isolate that was too cheap to pass up.

Make of that what you will.
Post-workout I just mix with water and chug it - unflavored (at least MyProtein) with water kinda tastes like crappy skim milk haha. But honestly more tolerable to me than some super artificially sweetened ones.

Unflavored is the best for smoothies - my GF puts a couple of scoops, some milk and fruit, etc - and it's a great breakfast.

Thanks for the helpful comment. I usually buy Myprotein isolate but it has gotten so expensive. I'm on the fence about this one, as I still have a couple months left in my current supply.

Thanks for this. I've been chugging down Dymatize chocolate (wayyy too sweet for me) waiting for another MyProtein deal - but will roll the dice with this.

Why was the Vitamin Shoppe isolate doggsh*t? Strictly the flavor?

Just curious, you guys drink this as is or add things to give it flavor? I've never had unflavored protein. I drink unflavored creatine and it tastes horrible lol. I add a bit of Mio to the water.

I haven't used this brand but the one unflavored brand I use does taste gross (kinda soapy) so I just use it when I'm gonna chuck the protein anyways (mixed with just like 6oz water).

If I want more volume and am using 10+ oz of water/milk rather than chugging, I use flavored protein.

Can you please let me know what price is a good deal for myProtein isolate? Maybe less than 10$/lbs?

Thanks for sharing! I'm a big fan of myprotein unflavored isolate (put some in my decaf coffee in the afternoon). Hope this is similar!

I add monk fruit to sweeten it up a tad. It really comes down to personal preference. I get unflavored because it is more versatile to add to other things, like smoothies or even in baking.

The uses of unflavored protein is endless yo. I especially love using this to bake into things like brownies whatnot and it mixes well with flour esp on a 1:1 ratio flour:protein you can get a pretty good consistency usually and it'll still taste brownie-like, I'm not sure the macros on this, but hey-protein and it adds more protein to where there was little to no protein involved.
