Good deal?
It's a 4-core cpu, alluminium body, ultra slim and lightweight, good brightness and resolution, USB with tunderbolt, HDMI 2.0b, backlit keyboard, good battery. This is not the cheap quality as the Lenovo Ideapad, HP Pavilion or Dell Inspiron. I guess it's the indicated for ultra portability with enough power for productivity anywhere. Not indicated for software that uses a lot of RAM (soldered and not upgradeable). Good for its price.

It would have been a great deal even at $450 if not the 8 GB of RAM. You really need 12+ GB which means 16GB to properly use it to its full potential. Otherwise great for some word processing, light work and media consumption. And of course you are not going to be gaming on this. The screen gives good colors but relatively sluggish in terms of response times. Again, not for gaming.

Not bad for $400, good for basic home or light office/school use.

Sold by a company, which never ships their item and never bothered to send a notification that our order is cancelled. Thanks but no thanks!

Just curious if the SPECS are good enough to handle some occasional RAW photography processing in Lightroom and dab of Photoshop?

Tiger direct should be banned on Slickdeals. Their reputation was already very bad before the ipad fiasco.

The processor is fine but not enough RAM. You basically need 16GB for anything with Adobe creative suite on a PC now.

I wouldn't be surprised if the recent Apple fiasco at TigerDirect was intentional - just to get a ton of "new customers" in, to get their contact info, and then cancel orders. The only thing I've bought from Tigerdirect in the last 4 years was a 4K monitor. Since purchasing that 4 years ago, I literally get spammed with emails from Tigerdirect everyday regarding deals, sales, etc.

Yes, it can be. I own the 16gb RAM/512GB SSD version (have owned it for 13 months), and Windows Update tells me that it can be. I haven't upgraded and don't plan to, as I feel like Windows 11 is a step backwards in the UI department.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the laptop. My only real complaint is that it only has one USB-C port.

8gb ram is the kicker here. without being upgradable youre basically accepting this as a nice consumption device.
