I use the cheap hooks from HD on the wall, but the covering always wears off quickly and scratches my rims. Can be fixed with some tape, but still an annoyance.

I have a very narrow 2-car garage. If I used these racks, I wouldn't be able to fit 2 cars in. My hooks worked perfectly because the width taken up is exactly the width of the widest part of the bike, my handlebars.
My garage is narrow. Can these go a little up so that they dont kill space. Also, i am not sure I want to hang my bike from rim, is there a way we can use the frame. ?
