I have this one. It works best with Nest Aware like others said. It's not slow.

The biggest feature I like is If you have a Google Nest/Home Display, the display will show you the doorbell camera when someone rings it. It also does face recognition so it will tell you the person's name.

It doesn't alert the display if someone walks Infront of it. But will get a notification on the phone.

Good price for this device I wouldn't pay more.

I'm was coming over from Sky Bell HD which never worked properly.

Is yours wired or does it run on a battery?

Google fire sales tend to make me think that they're going to cancel a product line like they did with Nest Secure and Stadia.

Could you clarify what you mean by slow? Slow like a delay looking at it in the app?

This is a gen 1, its still a nest doorbell instead of a fully integrated google home nest camera.

I have this doorbell for years now and would still buy it today.

It works great with nest aware subscription, providing alerts with facial recognition/ package alerts and retrievals, among other features.

bought this deal 3 weeks ago and installed it last week. I couldn't find the transformer box to figure out the voltage so I just installed it hoping it would work and it did. great resolution and quality. too bad my doorbell is sideways but at least the included wedge help a bit.

Face recognition doesn't work in Illinois if anyone gets it for that and lives in IL.

I have one of these for around 4-5 years. When I ring the door bell, the unit loses all power. This started about a month ago. I have done some Google searches and people think the built in battery no longer holds a charge. Mine is hardwired but I think it uses the battery to operate.
The product works much better with Nest Aware. Especially, if you want to look at history.

It's likely that your doorbell transformer is failing, so it isn't putting out enough power when the button is pressed. Fortunately, they're pretty cheap to replace. Well, the hardware is cheap, but, unless you know what you're doing, you'll want to get an electrician to install it.

I've read this too about the battery failing. I have the same problem. But if this is being sold by Woot, is it possibly old stock being cleared out? Google stopped making this model a while ago, no? So could it be possible that the internal battery is already old and could possibly fail sooner rather than later?
