This might be good if you're primarily looking for bug protection, but I'd question how good it is for providing shade. At 41.6 square feet of shade, this is less than half what is provided by even a standard 10x10 straight legged canopy.
We find even our 13x13 canopy (and over 4x the shade) sometimes doesn't provide enough shade (or at least you're constantly moving to chase the shade) and add shade walls. Adding shade walls is problematic with slant legged canopies, although Coleman may make something specifically for these models. Something to consider if sun and rain protection is a significant need for you.
I have had twice before. Good for the bugs, not good for shade , a small picnic table fills it to the max, with your back on the screens. Lasts @ two seasons if up for the whole summer.
Definitely not meant to be up all summer. This is a temporary shelter. Most buying this will use it for camping or soccer games. It should last at least 5 to 10 years.
I've had one for 5 years now. Take it out when we camp with our RV for bug free dining. It really is easy to set up, takes at most 5 minutes. I did have one of the supports break, but I rigged it with a cotter pin and now it is fine. Thinking about buying this one for a back up.
Negative. They will ask you to repurchase with the sale price and return the original order if still in the return period. Super dumb and not a cost efficient way to run a business. They would rather take a double hit than make things easier for the customer and themselves. It's like they pride themselves on losing money on shipping.
Or they've actually done the analysis and know that with all the hassle they create by asking customers to return and rebuy that more customers will ultimately just suck it up and keep what they bought at the higher price.

We have used one of these 15x13 ones for years when we camp. It's large enough to fit our 6ft (i think) folding table and our two zero gravity chairs. There is enough room left to recline in them too. Never had a problem with bugs unless they crawl underneath.
I usually put this up by myself by extending one leg at a time and locking it in place. Even by myself it doesn't take five minutes. I highly recommend and will buy another spare at this price.
I grabbed it for my grandson. This will be his first summer in a kiddie pool. We don't have any shade in the backyard. Plenty of space for him to toddle around at the wider part and space for whichever one of us is in there with him to not get too wet in our chair. At least that's what I'm telling myself 😄
Must-have for summer camping. Great for bug-free eating. Very little shade/rain protection, but it does have some. The shape is too awkward to fit over a standard campsite picnic table, bring your own folding table.
We use a 10x10 we got from Big Lots. I'm concerned the larger footprint on this one is deceptive to the actual area/volume because of the tapered walls. Anyone know what the area of the shade portion is? Coleman is definitely a good brand though

The shade area is in the details of the OP.

Having a setup to over the sandpit for my daughter so she can play in it without the mosquitos getting her.
Pulled the trigger on this one for weekend car camping.
