That's a great deal for 5 batteries, but I'm not seeing that the 2 bonus batteries are Octanes.

The main 3 should qualify for the LSA, but the 2 free ones might not (see the inverter deal for that discussion).

I think they only ever made 3, 6, & 9 Ah Octane packs.

The 2 free 4ah batteries are regular batteries in the older style case with extra overmold.

2 free not octane, but should also be eligible for LSA. All the batteries in the deal appear to be blemished (as apposed to refurbished).

In the inverter thread, people have been denied LSA on the free batteries. I'm guessing because they are either from the era when stand alone batteries didn't qualify or because there is a loophole in the fine print about free promotional items.

No, people need to finish their registration with a chat with RIDGID. I don't see any straight denials in that thread.

Register the tool like you normally would, upload receipt, then ask RIDGID to finalize LSA.
