Amazon bonus offer is a joke now. It used to be 10%, then 5%, now it's dropped to 2.75%. You'd have better luck just opening an Amazon Visa and getting 3% back instead.

Free tax software if you're eligible

This is a great option if you want a better user experience maybe?

anyone know cheapest way to file that can handle importing crypto transactions from Coinbase/Robinhood, etc
TurboTax Premier seems the easiest with imports for Crypto. $110

H&R Block has similar service for $92

What price point are we aiming for? I think I paid $19.99 2 years ago for H&R Block.
I paid $15 the last two years. That being said I have no idea how inflation will effect the price. I am shooting for $15 but will bite at $17.50 which it has been once already.

This is why we need the fairtax act (look it up). Having to pay to get back the money owed you is demeaning and insulting. The only reason our tax system is so complicated is because lobbyist working corrupt politicians.
Yeah and shift more of the tax burden on the working class. And lets also tax the seniors again, who have already paid income tax their entire life, when they buy groceries.

I'd say lets go back to the tax brackets pre-1980s. Bring back the 70% tax bracket for income above $200,000 (adjusted for inflation would be about $700,000).

The newegg deal here was not bad. Effectively $15 ($35 and $20 gift card from a choice - homedeopt, starbucks, etc) - obviously only worth it if the gift cards are useful for you.

Print and mail your state tax. Easy. No way I'd pay $19.95 to efile
There are almost no use cases that anyone in sound mind and body, would pay 20 bucks to e file the state return. An envelope and a dollars postage is all you need.

That deal was as low as it is going to be. I got the software for net 15 and 5 bags of mulch (that I was going to buy anyway) .

There have been better deals recently, and likely to have better deal later based on past years. I got it from Newegg with $20 GC for HomeDepot for $35. The bonus value for Amazon GC is so little that has almost no value when compared with other credit card deals.
The only problem with that deal was people bitching and whining about it being a gift card and not somewhere they shop. I mean if you ever get Starbucks, do minor work around the house, eat Subway once in awhile, or any of the other offers then it was a fantastic deal.

Faster to process, more secure, no chance of mail getting lost?

make sure you get it with return receipt. I got screwed one year becuase they reported it that they got it late. I sent it on time but the agency who looks at it were lazy and reported it late. It was their word against mine and they took their word - so i learned the hard way and had to pay a fine and a late fee.
