This takes a bit of work but it isn't hard. This is basically a repost of last weeks 4070Ti offer but is a little better thanks to the added $100 rewards certificate. That post was downvoted but it did show a tactic to get a new GPU cheaper than MSRP.

1)Apply for a get a new Best Buy Visa approved. [bestbuy.com] You can use it the day of approval since it is automatically added to your best buy account. This gets you 10% back on your first day of purchases if done within first 14 days of opening the account.

2)Activate $100 back on purchases "for a limited time". [bestbuy.com] Must be activated before purchase.
  • Valid January 9 to February 13th
  • Here's how:
  • Activate the offer. (which will show on your bestbuy account)
  • Use your My Best Buy Membership that is associated with your My Best Buy Credit Card for purchases during the offer period.
  • Online: Sign in before placing your order.
  • In Store: Print the barcode or show it on your phone at the register.
  • Promotional certificate will post to your loyalty account 2-3 weeks from completion of the promotion.
3) Use discount code: FEB24EMOB1 for 10% off purchase.

So $1250 MSRP -10% coupon = $1125, plus 10% back=$112.50, plus $100 reward certificate = a net cost of $912.50 (plus tax on the $1125).

YES, YES, the RTX 4070 Ti and 4080 are overpriced. If you're buying a card, this is the best deal I've seen that isn't openbox or used.

In my case, I got a 4080 Ventus for a new cost of $912.50. Yes, it's still overpriced, but it's better than MSRP.

Works on 4070Ti, 4090, and 7900 XTX or 7900 XT.

The credit pull for 1x is nothing and besides 8f you are qorried about your credit score taking a temp hit from pull checks then you must be about to get a loan from someone else anyways.

Well no it was more about being a better value. You get a Chase card and spend $3000 in 3 months and get 70k points and those 70k points are worth $700 in gift cards now if you buy Amazon gift cards and shop on Amazon anyways you can treat it like $700 cash and you are now getting a 7900 xtx for $300 theoretically which is what I just did. Just a better price/deal imo for those who hustle a little harder.

Tempting, but should probably hold out on my next build until the 14900k and 14700k are available. Hopefully GPU prices will be better by then.

What's up with this promo code? Can it be used for other stuff? It's not working for me.

Lol. Agree this post should not be framed as a deal if it relies on a credit card offer since that can apply to any item and there is the cost of a hit on your credit/better sign up bonuses that would be more valuable.

with that logic, you can get one for free if you deposit 100k to capital one saving account to get 1k!

wow, so what we should do is go deposit 100k 2 times so we can get a full PC + a 4080. Time to pull out all of someone else's savings out to get this done

Or even better - you use the points for a flight for three adults from the West Coast to the Caribbean with a regular carrier, convenient layovers, which otherwise would cost $3000+. And have a tropical vacation at 80% discount instead of saving $100 for a NVidia over priced graphic card. You can do the same to Hawaii but I wanted Caribbean this time.

That's such a weird suggestion in a video card thread. You know the people looking to buy a $1,000 video card probably aren't the same consumer

It only works with the Best Buy credit card unfortunately. You have to it selected as your payment source.

Okay, that fixed it, but also the code is FEB, not FED. You have a typo in it.

Regardless, thanks!
