Nope, just as long as it's an NVME PCIe M.2 2280 it's even got a user accessible slot for adding additional storage.

BTW you can get the disc & digital versions both direct https://direct.playstation.com
(Although I just checked & the plain digital version is out of stock at the moment, but that will change in a day or so). They do have the God of War Ragnarok Bundle for both disc & digital & the plain disc all currently in stock. This is direct from Sony. I got mine in 2 days after ordering it & that was with normal FREE shipping too.

Yeah I did the same. The service and experience is much better direct. Or you can go costco bundle option too. If you are looking for all the bundle accessories.

Well up until now I have been a diehard Xbox weenie since the original Xbox came out. I've literally owned every version of Xbox (especially the Halo Editions) but I am not one of those collectors, I always trade them in towards the new release console. I had never played on a PlayStation, never owned one, had absolutely no interest in it at all. I am a former Network Engineer my specialty was in Windows so a Microsoft game console was a natural progression for me. What changed? Microsoft's flat out refusal to do anything VR with the Xbox is not only stupid, it's robbing it's user base of amazing experiences. I had an Oculus Go, Oculus Rift S & I have a Quest 2, they're cool, but not as seamless & immersive as a console based solution would be. I had seen PSVR on YouTube & liked it. Then I found out about PSVR 2 & OMFG 🤯 I was not prepared for it to be that mind-blowingly impressive! So I immediately ordered the PS5 Digital God of War Ragnarok Bundle & Pre-order the PSVR 2 Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle. I had no idea PS5 graphics were so incredible! It's hard to believe the Series X & PS5 have the same hardware, because the PS5 looks & performs so much better than the Series X in my opinion anyways. Of course I'll have to keep an Xbox, because I've been a massive Halo fanboy since day 1 too.
