The USB-IF certified USB 4... can that be used as a regular USB-C to USB C connection? Backward compatible with USB 3?

Got this cable 2 weeks ago. It doesn't super fast charge my s22 ultra (my other cables do).

The cable is fairly rigid, so expecting normal cable flex during certain uses is annoying.

Ugreen makes terrible quality cables and their connectors break off (they are known for it, like most generic brands).

Just keep that in mind when ordering.

it doesn't state that it uses an E-marker chip for the USB cables...

SD should have a rule that says, when you say "Don't buy this..." you have to ofter at least one alternative and a link.

I've had good luck with their cables in the past.

Ugreen makes good quality cables, chargers, and more. They are one of the larger chinese companies typically known for decent quality.

They are not a no name fly by night chinese company like so many others.

I have many of their cables, never had a quality issue (falling apart/breaking) and never had a charging speed issue.

Like all cables, some are lemons.

Which cables that you own do super fast charge? i only own one that enables super fast charge 2.0, and only some can super fast charge.

looking for suggestions.

I own 3 or 4 that I've been using daily on various devices for a little over a year. As a previous Anker fan, I bought them when I felt that Anker was slowly raising their prices once Aukey and RavPower were banned from Amazon. The UGreen braided cables are good quality and show no signs of wear/fatigue near the connector. Have you personally experienced one breaking?

Seems like USB-C fast chargers and cables are the Milwaukee M12 tools of 2023. Last year you couldn't swing a dead laptop charger without hitting one of the latter, and now it's the former. Not complaining let alone implying anything, mind you, I've posted a USB charger deal myself and commented and added to several others. I just find it kind of humorous how every year or so there's a category of devices that gets massively promoted here. What's to explain this sudden interest in these devices? Is the newest generation of phones, tablets, laptops and other devices so power-hungry that it requires all these advanced chargers and cables?

Na, people always do this then provide a link to a completely different item.

Lol as in someone would provide a link to a 2ft cable that's only 30w probably. Lol and be like Seeeeee, same thing but cheaper

Reviews seem low quality. I would guess they were given free or possibly one of those things where a seller gives a discount for leaving a positive review. Fakespot gives it a B but something seems suspect to me.

Ugreen is the only cable that stopped working on me in the least 4 years. I have some JSAUX cables that are still going strong with no issues after 6 years.

I'm suspecting the supply chain is ramping up for the next iPhone to use USB C port, if the rumors are to be believed.
