Maybe in 2014/15 T-Mobile not only better trained their employees. I let the nonsense with my bill go on for two weeks because I know that mistakes happen and was doing my best to give them the benefit of the doubt. After two weeks I finally got an agent who was honest and feed me excuses and give me the run around. They closed my old account & opened a new one so the associate could earn a commission. It was 100% unnecessary. But because of how she completely closed my old account, they were having problems transferring over my phones, my promotions, everything. So, I was getting billed for my phones on the new plan and because the old plan closed out, I was sent a big, fat bill to pay the remainder of my phones off. None of that should have happened.
So, no, I am blaming T-Mobile. They hired & trained these associates. T-Mobile also chose to limit what an associate in a brick and mortar store could do, forcing customers to call or go online. My in person experiences with T-Mobile were always good. It's a shame they decided to close physical stores — they lost their best employees.
Sometimes the customer is a demanding jerk and is to blame. And sometimes the customer has a legitimate complaint.
