Have a whole closet full of MHW clothes - pants, winter shirts, summer shirts, shorts, sweatpants, etc., along with every flavor of jacket, vest, coat, and hoodie. Not to mention MHW outdoor gear - tents, sleeping bags, duffel bags, backpacks, ski gear, gloves, sun hats, and travel gear. Yes, I'm a MWH whore. Everything but socks, underwear, and shoes. I outfit my wife and kids with this stuff and they love it too.

I'd say since 2016, I've bought 95% of all my MHW stuff through deal alerts just like this one.

As far as how often, I know they have 2 big closeout sales at the end of winter and summer seasons with 75% off, and quarterly 60% markdowns on select items like this one. Plus, if you join their club, you get extra deals, access to unique discounted products, additional 10-15% off tied to your account, and always free shipping. I've been tempted to buy a new something at full retail, but if you're patient, as with anything, it will eventually go on sale.

Through the sale linked here, I ordered two Camp 4 duffel bags for my high schoolers. Originally $120, 60% off, plus an extra 15% off from the membership email, with free shipping. Ended up at $40 each, which is an excellent deal considering the quality and features. Adidas or Nike duffel bags at Academy or Dicks cost much more than that and have nowhere near the build quality or features of these.

For the quality, tech specs, materials, comfort, innovation, 50 UPF materials, etc, etc, you can't beat MHW - especially when they go on sale. I don't even really need anything anymore, but I am always on the lookout for the really cool, unique, and highly technical things from MHW.

I guess the promo code does not work on all sales items. I tried to order the ghost whisperer 2 but it does not work.

Just a heads up on the mountain hardware fit. It's not like Patagonia, Arcteryx, or some of the other premium brands. Sizing tends to be a better fit for slightly shorter, rounder people. I'm 5'11 and the sleeves on their medium jackets are way too short. If you're on the slightly taller side and trim, Mountain Hardware stuff doesn't fit that well imho.

Maybe that's why all their tall thin model dudes on the website are using the sleeve thumb holes 😂

Yes, MHW clothing, the upper-body stuff like shirts and jackets, come in 4 different fits. I don't recall the names, but something like Loose, Standard, Active, and one that is a tight fit for base layer stuff. It's all on the website with pictures to explain. All of these are generally cut to fit your body for the activity that item is made for.

Patagonia and Arcteryx typically come in mass-marketed one-for-all fits. MHW is a bit more specialized and premium in this regard. (Also, I've never had any MHW rain jacket delaminate like both $$$ Arcteryx jackets I've owned, but that's another conversation.)

If you're a bigger guy or like loose fitting things, make sure to get MHW items in Standard or Loose fit; however, if you want something that only comes in Active or the tightest fit, make sure to order up a size in that fit. Conversely, if you're tall and slim, go for a larger size in a tighter fit so that it's not baggy on your body, but long enough for your waist and arms. It's common for XL and XXL sizes sell out quickly for base layer and Active fit items.

I hear ya on the Arc'teryx delamination, I have a 8yr old beta shell inner wrist seams start to fail. Bummed, but the rest of the shell is hold up well, had to use some seam tape to reinforce the wrist area... Otherwise love Arc'teryx stuff. Also have had great experiences with mh.

FYI. It never shipped and I can't find any proof that I ever ordered it. Just reading your comment now makes me realize it was cancelled.
