The big problem I encountered when I use Wyze, is that it's very very hard to replay, I mean, very hard to search/review on a recorded video. It's time resolution is so useless that you are very easy to skip the images you wanted to know when you are reviewing.

Do you have other wyze products? I'm not an expert on them but will never buy their stuff again unless it was a giveaway price simply to see if its better. Their app also just hounds you to subscribe... but if I wanted a subscription service there's 0 rationale I would have chose them in the first place 😆

It does not support POE, it needs the power adapter, which luckily is pretty long, I think about 6 feet.

Does this have software for continuous viewing on your computer?

And can you take the card out to view on your computer?

Currently using Yi that does both of that, and haven't found any 2K cameras that can do that.

This isnt really a deal. Tapo C320WS with starlight sensor is the way to go. If that hits $29, I'll buy 4 more. These cameras are 100x better than my google nest cams I am currently replacing.

Have you used their cloud storage? If so, what do you think about the service and price?

Cost wise its the same for storage for all cameras compared to nest. About 12 bucks a month. The software is faster for me using tapo and less buggy and I get all notifications. Cloud storage for Tapo will only record and store events. Unlike Nest, which records and stores 24/7. In order to view 24/7 recording, you need to add a micro sd to your tapo camera. The cloud storage for tapo hasnt let me down yet. I like the interface better as well. No complaints.

Yeah, I bought the starlight sensor one when it was $29 a couple months back. The picture at night is way better than my other cameras. I'd buy another at that price now that I know.

I don't use the cloud service. I put a 256 GB SD card in it and it records continuously, keeping the past month or so of footage. The app for these cameras is pretty good, marking motion detects in the timeline and letting me jump around easily.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to access the camera except for the phone app, so I can't get to footage from my computer, which is annoying. Again, I don't pay for cloud service, but maybe that gives you web browser access.

Any good review to highlight the difference between the one with starlight and the one without.
Bought 2 Wyze earlier and am looking for a good solution for outdoor surveillance. Thanks
