Definitely slower than my spectrum service was (50mbps in my area vs 500), but I've been getting so much pleasure from not paying spectrum after years of gouging by them when they were the only provider. Spectrum just dropped prices in my area to match this, but they can fly a kite. Returning that modem to them in store was a top 10 experience this year.

This service is very oversold in many markets. I am on it currently, and it went completely to pot after the $25 promo in December. If I had any other option, I would jump at it, this service is so unreliable I have to use my phone much of the time. If you are lucky, this could be a great budget option, but most are going to be in internet hell! Rant over...😄
Yeah, better to bail to either Verizon Fios or Spectrum, if offered in your area? Huh?!

Unfortunately they never ran cable or fiber down my street, I only have wireless or satellite as internet options right now. Verizon doesn't offer home internet in this area yet either...😕

I live in rural nc.. I got this cause viashat was only service available, with no cell service in the valley available . T-mobile home internet said they released service to my address in late December. Got it. Very happy. Get about 60ms ping, and about 5-7 Mbps down, and 4 Mbps up. Good stuff

I did have this in the North Columbus area a year back. Initially it was fine with around 150mbps down and 25mbps up but soon i started getting only 45 mbps down and 5 mbps up. talked to CS and others and said that traffic congestion was up. also had frequent drops when using VPN. Price is good but i hope the speeds are better now. Till then i am on the sidelines

Hello neighbor! I still have it (since May 2022), zip code is 43229 (north of 161). I connect to the tower at the corner of 161 and Karl, behind the soon to be closed Doll House (strip club). My modem/router is on a shelf mounted up high on a wall in a second story bedroom. I can see the top of the tower from the window a few feet away on the same wall. The rear of the modem/router is facing the tower.

I WFH, and consistently get 150 down, 60 up all day. 15-20 ping. Video calls and all that through Teams, GlobalProtect VPN. Never disconnects or slows to a crawl. Early morning/late night I can see over 300 down on my personal devices.

Waiting for AT&T to bring fiber down my street. F Breezeline and Spectrum.

Now tell me you are from Columbus, Indiana or Columbus, Georgia. 🤣

On a serious note, how reliable is T-mobile internet compared to AT&T fiber internet. Currently, att is about $65 for 500 mbps.
Depends on your location

I tried it last year. DATA CAPPED. Slowed down to unusable speeds. It's a shame really, so I have to use Verizon.

I've been using T-Mobile for phone for more than 10 years. So T-Mobile network is good in my area. I signed up for the $25/ deal internet in December and plan to cancel it even though it's much cheaper than my Spectrum plan. At first T-Mobile internet was great (still slower than my spectrum) but now it really sucks. It's way too slow to use. I heard it's data capped? If so then it's a deal breaker no matter how cheap it is
