No, it's a playstore app called Capitol one shopping.... No card required... Its just like other rebate apps... Sign on in your pc and install the extension to your browser... I used the Chrome extension.... Then click on the extension or go to the Capitol one shopping website and keep clicking the hp store link in there... My cash back offer was initially just 6%( but weirdly on the app on my phone it was 12%)...eventually on the main capital one shopping webpage you should see an hp cash back offer for 30%...make sure it is activated in the extension (I messed this up and had to cancel and reorder with the 30% hp offer "activated"). Then go through the ordering steps and at some point on your screen you should see a 30% cash back activated as well, but keep check that extension before you go through the steps of ordering the pc... Shit works and I should get back a cool $342 back hopefully that I will probably burn on walmart gift cards.....

No email, the offer should show up in the Capitol one shopping page.... Yeah, just keep messing around click on the hp link and go to the website then leave and do it again.... Eventually an offer for 30‰ cash back for a different pc on sale popped up on the Capitol one shopping website but since it was for the hp website I clicked on the link from the Capitol one shopping website it took me to the hp website where I was already signed in and I was now able to activate the 30% offer in the Chrome browser Capitol shopping extension I had installed earlier..... Make sure it is activated before you start the purchase process

How long did it take to receive the email that saying you got the cash back? I have ordered through capital one shopping but didn't receive anything saying I will receive the cash back

I think this is a good deal for a pc especially with the cash back offer from Capitol one shopping... Granted you have to use the "cash back" to purchase gift cards.... They have some decent offerings like Nike, Cabela, Walmart, TJMax and many more that is a s good as cash if you shop at these places... Top for me is walmart

... But to answer your question it's tough, If you are asking I always say wait.... You already have a decent pc and not gonna see much crazy improvement or bang for your buck.... It's a wash and I would say keep waiting for an awesome 3080 ti desktop or 4080 desktop deal..... (only God knows when), but when you see a no brainer deal you will know it).... I would skip the ps5 and just keep rocking the laptop till you find a very good pc deal.......just my advice

I haven't got the email yet about the cash back, I am pretty sure you wont see that till the pc ships.... Then it should pop up in your Capitol one shopping website.... I had the same thing happen when I used it to order some stuff from homedepot

I saw the 30% on my mobile app and when hp website was opened, the pc was already in my cart so I went to my cart and finished the process. It was "activated" for the entire time. Just worried if they don't issue my cash back just because it was already in my cart lol
