Yeaa and then even smaller since the edges aren't usable. So about 10-11" more like.

In fact, Amazon reviews are surprisingly good, most of the complaints are about being broken/damaged on arrival.

These are plenty wide to see yourself in, you just have to stand a few feet back. They fit great on the back of a door. I keep seeing giant free-standing mirrors advertised and they're so impractical.
