Actually, I just checked the listing again and in the drop down box it does say 7" for this deal, though a 5" one is available for about $100.

You are right, I didn't see the drop-down when I was looking at the page. I was looking for the price in the description instead. I was confused because the first image in the listing is of the 5.5 inches version

Is there a way of knowing this seller is related to Zwilling other than the name it picked? How do you know this is not someone selling counterfeit?
I never buy from eBay anymore, so I'm not used to their page. This is a genuine question I have.

Edit: there is a checkbox below on the page that says item sold directly by the brand... Perhaps that's the proof..

Did you buy the 7" ($50) version? The shorter version looks way better on the listing's pictures. The 7" one looks like it's stamped.

I just placed an order. When you do that, in purchases, eBay shows the 7 inches knife, and it has the code 31119-183, which matches the item No. in Zwilling.

Great knife I have the entire set I bought from Macy's more than 15 years ago still running strong. I use the santoku knife the most even more than the chef's knife. Horrible price though imo

Bigger issue is that if you use the knife long-term and sharpen it regularly, once you hit the granton indents you basically can't use the knife anymore.
