I'm building a new pc. Would the 2tb be good as boot and storage? This would be the only ssd. No hard drive.

I was debating about this for an entire month with all the slickdeals post for WD. If you have the extra $$ go for the 2tb sn850x, but if not go for the 1tb sn770 like i did. I plan to use it as a replacement of a regular ssd for now and get a bigger and faster one down the line when I eventually get windows 11.

Both are really good deals and ive asked this question in multiple threads, you cant go wrong either way according to everyone else.

On a scale what is the longevity of these drives? Are they good for a boot drive or better for storage? What would be better for longevity? Thanks

Yes, a lot of people just use a 512GB or 256GB SSD as a boot drive then a HDD for storage... so this would be adequate
