It's minimal, the only reason to do it would be if you were saving money. At most you would see a second or two of a difference between loading times on big games.

It is my first time to buy a m2 drive, it looks like I have to open the cover of the "heatsink" in order to put in this drive on my motherboard. (I am unsure if it is a heatsink), so I dont have to purchase the heatsink version?
