    Still don't really get who this watch is supposed to be for. It seems like it's meant to get athletes to switch from Garmin but 12 hours of GPS-tracked battery life seems terrible when a Fenix 7 Solar does 72+ hours at the same price point and an Enduro 2 can do 150 hours.

    Yep that's basically it. I have a Garmin I like that was a couple of hundred dollars. But it doesn't integrate as well as a smart watch with my iPhone. Well enough but not as much as I want. Regular Apple Watches had too short of a battery life for marathons and such. This fits the niche. I will probably buy the second gen when it comes out or when my Garmin dies but really, these are uglier and crappier than most Garmin watches, useful for people like me who value the integration and want the longer life for ultra marathons. Otherwise kind of a dumb product
