I have recommended this book to everyone, for many years.. Sadly, few people took my advice. Now, they are asking me if I heard the story.
I've followed the production news, that's pretty interesting too. I love historical fiction and non fiction. Especially Native American. I enjoyed The taking of Jemima Boone, as well.

I'll be downvoted but this book wasn't all that compelling. To the point that I have no interest in watching the movie when it releases. Boring story imo
