I just received a warranty replacement from Seagate for one of these. Same label as what's show in this deal. They are completely reset and show 0 power on count and 0 hours.

Rather pay 100 dollars more and have 5 yrs warranty through Seagate - they replaced 5 of my 12 14TB for free within the last 4 yrs

That's the primary reason I'm somewhat skeptical of these drives. They're well used retired from data centers, there's no doubt about that. It would be better practice to leave the SMART data in tact so the customer has a better idea of the current health status of the drive. You can do a surface test, I'd recommend it, but that doesn't give you any information regarding power on time or data read/writes.
