About 60 pizzas according to my calculations without considering electricity usage.
Could be less if you buy 00 Caputo flour in bulk or $0.4 per pizza ball from Amazon [amazon.com] (9-10 pies per package)
This is for a classic Margarita with fresh mozzarella ($0.5 per pizza), basil (free homegrown) and tomato sauce ($0.3/each).
$15 store bought pizza vs $1.5 homemade

I know it's not the same, but pretty good results can be attained with a baking steel and a regular oven for a lot less $ (if an outdoor pizza oven isn't an option).

Steel works really well. You can prop your oven door open and temps get to 650ish. Yeah, it's not the safest thing in the world but it works.

If you cook a frozen pizza at 750F, you'll turn the crust into carbon, and the insides of the pizza will remain frozen.

This is meant to make Neapolitan and New York style pizzas mainly, and it's obviously not for everybody.

Most home ovens peak at 550F. Don't get me wrong, you can make excellent pizza with a home oven. The Pizzaiolo isn't for everyone, but for those of us who make Neapolitan pizzas at home (I have an outdoor oven, and this little guy would let me make pies year-round), this is a great product. Still, even at $800, it's not cheap.

Like many high end appliances, it's not about saving money, necessarily, it's about obtaining results superior to what you could get with "normal" ovens. This means not only appreciating what these results are, but also caring about them. This oven is not for everyone, to say the least.

It can do most anything a regular oven can do, and maybe you can justify it by replacing another countertop appliance, but honestly, a good countertop oven will be cheaper, and do a better job with most things baked at temps 500F and lower.

The volume of the inside of the Pizzaiolo is limited, and having 2 heating elements presents a fire hazard for things like steaks that tend to spatter grease.

Hear pretty great things about this but could never justify the cost. Been obsessing about making pizzas lately and although this is a quality product, IMO it's only worth it if your preference is to make Neapolitan pizzas which has the most intense conditions for making.

10" pizzas are very small as well.

All of the outdoor pizza ovens are great solutions at a fraction of the cost. If you must do it indoors, a stone, steel or cast iron are all other great cheap alternatives.

Also Breville makes another countertop pizza maker called the Crispy Crust. It doesn't get as hot as this one, but it gets close enough. It makes great pizza once you figure out your preference for settings. They are more widely available on the secondhand market. I got mine used for $20 and found an open box one for $60.
