looks like a pretty good deal. if you didn't want the speed editor and needed Resolve studio looks like even open box you could sell the speed editor for $175. Could probably make more if you could sell it locally on FB Marketplace and bypass fees. Assuming you need Resolve. Free Resolve only allows exports of 1080p among some other limitations so for 4k this isn't a bad option plus you own it with no monthly or yearly sub fees.

I know this used to be basically free with Resolve but that isn't the case anymore. Still a good deal. Watched some videos and it looks pretty helpful if you keep it. Code is supposedly emailed to you and the same code arrives on a BlackMagic card in an envelope when you get it. There is also a dongle version but apparently can only be used on the device it is plugged into. The card version reportedly lets you use two devices at a time.

Resolve since BlackMagic has purchased it has also been a one time purchase so far ever since like version 9 from what I have read. Version 18 is out now. Plus it now has integrated Fusion and other apps into Resolve itself making it basically an all in one solution almost.

Also Speed editor unlike the more expensive keyboard can be used two ways. USB C or wireless over Bluetooth which is handy for smaller workstation areas as you can connect wirelessly then put it away without any cable fuss.

Also looks like these guys don't charge tax fyi.

Support this company, they're one of the few left that aren't gouging their customer base with perpetual subscription fees. I switched to Resolve studio and Blackmagic Camera's a while back and there's no looking back.

weird i bought it and have purchased from them in the past and never charged tax. maybe they are forced in same states but not others for some reason.

he's in one of the high sales tax areas and they pinging him for nearly 10% in taxes. $33.59 is the sales tax amount.
