It stacked with my existing subscription I had through Microsoft Workplace Discount Program (used to be called Home Use Program) which was 12 months at $70 so this is 3 months extra and free NordVPN for $2 less; totally slick!
This is unlike getting it through Amazon or Best Buy that takes over management of your subscription and make it really annoying to switch/stack with other deals.
For this reason this is much more preferred than Amazon or Best Buy deals.

Side note - does anyone else find NordVPN to be an unreliable POS? I find I have to disable it frequently to complete simple actions… including viewing SD pages from time to time. YMMV or is this the typical experience? Not browsing anything but well known tech :sites etc. even Amazon shopping gets blocked from time to time. Note - shopping, not trying to stream video or get past any region restrictions. It just works like crap for day to day use imo.
