The RMx was $99 2 weeks ago.

Not terrible price right now, but also not super slick imo.

Got the 1,000 Watt version recently. No problems with the PSU, just wondering why I bothered to plug it into my USB header.

BTW, the connector for the USB header took up two slots but only needed one connection, just like the also Corsair radiator also in my system. I did some pin transplanting so they could both be plugged in without wasting two USB ports.

Bought the 750watts for my new build a week ago for $100. Thought of buying this but my build doesn't need it. I'm running a 7900x and is waiting for rtx 4070ti to drop in price before I buy one. The PSU recommended for my build is 750watts anyway and I don't plan to upgrade my GPU for awhile. So far, it runs well without a problem. Cables aren't premium looking but it serves its purposes. I can't hear the fan running and don't know if it's even on at all. It is definitely on the quiet side. I would hear my computer fan most of the time and I put that on standard mode. I don't know what people look for in a PSU, but this is rated at 87% efficiency, runs really quiet, and provide plenty of wattage for a decent price.

Curious what your buy in price is for the 4070ti? I caved and bought one a week ago from BB for 10% off(code)/5% back(BB CC). What are you running now? I had a 1080ti that died and the 4070 is insane compared to it.

I was supposed to build a new PC 3 years ago but all that crypto nonsense made me delay it until now. I am running a GTX 970 on my old PC, so it's been 8 years. I'm waiting for the price to come down to at least $700 for a 4070ti, and it doesn't even have to be an OC version, and I'm willing to wait til Black Friday for a sale. It's only been out for more than a month and with the pricing debacle of last gen and this gen GPU, the price will of course still be high. They just need to clear out all the old generation GPU first, sell to those who cannot wait, not blaming you, then they will have to lower the price if they want to move some units, and that will be me.
