I have a few bands from my previous AW 3 in different colors and they all look fine on the green AW 7.
As a matter of fact, I currently have a grey band on my green AW 7 and I bet that the average person looking at it wouldn't even be able to accurately guess which AW I had. It basically looks very dark, almost black.
As somebody else pointed out, you'd have to have it under direct, strong light to begin to notice the green.
The green AW 7 is kind of a chameleon. Under most conditions, it'll look very dark, most people would probably think it's black. And under strong light, the green will become a little bit more noticeable, but it's still a very dark green.
I don't care what anybody says, I like my green AW.
