This deal is about $100 more than the Apple Refurbished. But you got an extra year of warranty from Costco. (They stopped giving out the 3rd Year with their VISA Card). and you are buying a Brand New MBP.
I have decided to cancel my 14" base MBP refurb at $1600 from the Apple store and ditch out the extra coins for this. For those who are in the same situation, I have read the benchmark review that the 16" runs cooler, have a bigger screen for those who might game with it, more Pixels. Louder Speakers, and Bigger Battery Life.
If you need portability, and have charging available, dont care about gaming, and dont stress the unit like the review did. a 14" will save you a few bucks. Or better yet, find a refurb that has already upgraded to 1TB/32G Ram. leave the CPU/GPU as base. I believe Costco has the upgraded CPU/GPU 14" model with 1TB/16GB on Clearance Price ($2000). There should be a separate thread on that Deal. both are M1.
