I don't think so.
I feel that I noticed this light a few months back and I thought it was really expensive.
Eventually went to closeout price, but I don't recall how much it was. It may had been $49.97 according to the OP.
Looks like 2000 lumens total? Wonder if this would be good as a night fishing light? Probably not as i guess the light disperses around and not focused?
Yeah. Would like to see if there is a death star and x.97.
My picture of the incomplete tag has it at $49.99 which is not the typical costco death star clearance.
Worked at costco, some info:
An asterisk on the top of the tag does not indicate a clearance, just that an item will not be restocked.
You can see an asterisk on full price items (if they are running out, delayed or cancelled restock, seasonal, etc)
You can also see items clearanced without having a no-restock asterisk (too many incoming pallets, for example).
Additionally, .97 prices are not clearance either, just an unadvertized sale. (though commonly used as such).
A true costco clearance will be .47 or .00, which are direct manager issued clearance codes.
I had a power outage a couple of nights ago and this was a godsend. I ran it at the lowest brightness for almost 4 hours and all of the indicators for battery level remained lit up.
I finally saw this unit at the local Costco. One thing that concerned me is that the display unit had one of the legs broken off of it. It also had no charge so I couldn't see how bright it is.
I'm going to probably hold off buying it unless it gets a .97 or .00 markdown.

Ace wants $140 for it so $50 regular @ Costco is unlikely.
Would help if OP could post a photo of the shelf tag.

$49.99, no deathstar.
Can't add shelf tag picture via app. 🤷
