I doubt you're going to find much info on how many cycles these refurbs have been through but I will say that I've used mine hard daily, every single day at my cabin for over a year now and still no noticeable loss of capacity. Keep in mind the inverter/standby loss on most of these bigger power stations are atrocious, particularly this one. That said mine has been 100% dependable and I trust my freezer and security system to it when I leave town.

Is there a way to turn off the inverter or totally power it off to stop the drain on battery?

Avoid avoid avoid! Bluetti has almost a non existent customer service. Almost impossible to reach them.
Good luck getting any warranty done with them after any issues. Risky to invest in anything in their ecosystem.
Had to file a credit card dispute after a black friday deal went bad the 1st week and couldnt get any response. Only when i filed a credit card dispute they gave me the runaround. Still in the dispute process months afterwards.

Eww! I wouldn't screw around with refurbished power stations considering the issues we experience batteries catching fire and whatnot. Nope!
This is LiFePO4, not Lithium-Ion or Li-Poly. A failure of these is far far FAR less likely to catch on fire. That's one of this battery technologies advantages.

Yes, you can power it off but only if there is no power coming in. If it has any power source the unit will be on. You can power the inverter on/off via the touchscreen. Even with the inverter off it draws a pretty high stand by power draw.

Exactly what scared me away. Concluded that from Amazon reviews.
The newer Ankers also seem to have a huge DOA rate or failing within a year.
Ecoflow 100%...Customer service is better, so I've heard .
Purchased Ecoflow , DoA ... I had to return/exchange process , tool 45 days to return twice/exchanges.
