You post title has a lot of redundant information, but not the most important, the size. It is 4.6 pounds.

So Ive never tried this protein powder. However, 4.6lbs for 50 scoops. Thats gonna be a lot of powder per glass.

And hence my big issue with this. I recently tried Muscle Milk. I am so disappointed in this garbage. The scoops are so big that you need a ton of liquid to mix it properly. IT SUCKS.

Not only that. Muscle Milk does not mix well with cold milk at all. It curdles and leaves a thick layer of chunks on top. I need to use scolding water to get it to mix. It's also a very fine powder, so when you handle it, its just dust everywhere and you're losing a lot of powder. God I hate this stuff.

Im very disappointed in this stuff and wasted my $. I've tried Dymatize Casein. And that was a little better. Still not great solubility and fine powder. I needed to use two glasses to mix two scoops but at least could use cold milk.

But ON Gold Standard Whey is BY FAR the best in terms of solubility. You get 74 scoops in a 5lb container, which already tells you so much about how much powder is required per serving (vs 50 scoops for 4.6lbs here).

I feel violated every time I scoop up some Muscle Milk! Trust me this stuff sucks.

Are there any other powders beside ON which dissolve well in cold milk and use smaller scoops? ON is so expensive. TY.

You tried a blender bottle? I find the ones with the metal whisk balls work pretty well. Then I'll let it sit for about 10 minutes to get good and mixed.

Seems like a good bang-for-buck wise, but it contains Sucralose so hard pass for me.

I always use a magic bullet to blend protein. Quick and easy and never an issue.

I don't even need to get started on how the soy = man boobs thing is a myth, because the only soy it contains is soy lecithin...an emulsifier. We're talking on the order of under 1g per serving here.

About 62% of protein by weight. This is more of a meal replacement.

I haven't really had any problems with Muscle Milk's solubility. Not sure if you're mixing it in enough liquid.

I find that MyProtein mixes as well as ON. Their regular prices are a bit outrageous, but they frequently run coupon deals. They also have a decent selection of flavors and taste is pretty good in my opinion.

I don't know how effective this is compared to other protein brands but I can tell you that you'll get protein dust everywhere with this brand.

I bought my first tub last time they went on sale and I'll never buy it again just based on how much dust comes flying out.

Also subjective but I don't like how it tastes. Would rather just get Gold Standard
