i have this, beware the plastic part that the lanyard connects to is weak, didn't put that much pressure but it ripped off then went flying. Luckily I was on floor level when it happened but now no lanyard

Get the one with leveling bubbles. I don't understand why they don't integrate that. It's a penny upgrade but very very useful.

Is there no model that includes a digital level in it? Boggles the mind they wouldn't include that (or the physical ones)

There are. My Bosch w/ color display does that, as do the higher-end Chinese models

My similar Bosch only displays the measurement in X feet and X inches. There's no way to have it display total inches. It is an unnecessary pain. Is this model the same?

(UPDATE: See my later post #22. This unit DOES have a mode for inches only. The Bosch rep was wrong. However there is no color display. It's monochrome.)

Apparently the same... no total inches.
I scrolled thru the questions and a Bosch rep answered someone else that asked the same question.
He said the 3 mode options were M (meters in decimal), Feet/Inches, and Feet (in decimal).

FWIW the manual shows inches as one of the units of measure in the display.
