All you have to do is shut down the 5ghz channel connect your devices then re-enable the 5ghz channel... atleast it's worked with every device I have.
You can setup a Guest wireless network for the 2.4ghz devices
I run both without issue.

Looking for something to replace my Google OnHub that Google abandoned last month. Might have to look at these.

These were $210 like a week ago and they raised the price to $230. Could have been an even better deal. I'm going to keep holding out for lower prices since I'm not in urgent need at the moment.

I have the older Deco M5 system. They have worked well for over 5 years. I have my broadband come into our basement (unfortunately) and I have them hooked up to one, with a backhaul to the first floor, and another satellite to our 2nd floor. I was hoping to stand out until WiFi 7 became standard, but that will probably be a while.

Tempting. Looks a good deal. I'm still on WiFi 5 and was planning on waiting until Wifi 7 routers became common. Wonder if it is worth it to wait?
I'm in the same camp, using an orbi system that's getting long in the tooth. This seems pretty slick, but the fact is it's an entry level mesh system lacking some more advanced features. It'll be another two or three years though before 7 makes sense to pivot to, between the price of mesh systems and devices that can take advantage.

Bought these at Costco, took them back. You have no real control over the settings in that everything is super basic and it tries to require you to use a phone app. Hated it.

Can I use these as extra satellites if I already have this system from Costco? I have a barn on the back of my property and currently have a weak signal out there.
Yes.

Just keep in mind the "hops" can only go 3 units deep from what I remember.

example (each Deco unit is a network "hop");

Internet -> Deco 1 -> Deco 2 -> Deco 3 -> Device

I got this exact deal for $200 a couple weeks ago from them on eBay, and they're awesome. Zero install instructions but if you're familiar or resourceful it shouldn't be an issue. They work great and easy setup with the app. I replaced my older mesh and these are much better

Yep. I even combined my 4 system with my 6 for range around my broader property

Have the 3 pack from Costco before BF. Had an orbi system before that was not too much older. Regardless, this Deco refuses to connect to Amazon RF converter towers, my less than one year old Hisense smart tv and one of my Androids. Even turned off the beam forming and other experimental features and still no dice. Orbi definitely more reliable than this. Other features work ok for basic use. Thinking to dump this soon if I can...

Ordered and found out later that you can't have separate ssid for 2.4 and 5.0ghz, which is necessary to get smart home devices that use only 2.4ghz to connect. It's too bad but I have to cancel
Why you giving out false information

I recently returned these and got the x55 deco 3 pack and notice with 1gig down and 35 up that these were overkill. Nice that the 6ghz can be deducted for backhaul but oddly enough the x55 performed the same if not better for my home

I have this set from Costco and am generally happy with them. I got the Costco version with three units so I could have one unit on each level of my house. This thing is smoking fast and I don't need any extra features.

However, my one complaint it that router seems to have trouble with my iPhone 12. In theory, all iPhones after iPhone 11 should use the WiFi 6 for calls if it is available. The router seems to support this but frequently the calls get choppy with drop-outs sometime during the conversation. If I switch the Wifi off at my phone and use the 5G or LTE through my carrier, the conversations improve. This happens when I'm standing directly next to one of the mesh units.

So in summary -- outstanding for data, not so much for iPhone phone calls.

Has anyone else had this problem?
