This is the "Made in Japan" model. Which based on all other rice enthusiast comments, is the better model. This is also equipped with their latest "Neuro Fuzzy" in where the controller inside will make adjustments based on conditions. It's supposed to be a step above Micom featured rice cookers, and of course even further above non-micom and non-neuro fuzzy models.

This is 5.5 cups of UNCOOKED rice, and is a total of 10 cups cooked.

This is probably the best price seen in 2 years (if my search results are right). Definitely the best priced in the last year per 3C. Remember, this has the Neuro Fuzzy feature.

If you don't want to go through Macy's, Amazon also has it list matched but doesn't give you the 10% coupon. So you end up paying the $169.99 instead of the $153.

Thanks. I jumped on it. I didn't see that the Amazon one was the same, but maybe it was.

Yeah, same exact model. Amazon Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00007J5U7

Zojirushi Ns-Zcc10

The WZ is for the color. Per the Zojurishi site: https://www.zojirushi.com/app/product/nszcc
ColorPremium White (-WZ)

The Macy's listing uses the full product and color code
Zojirushi NS-ZCC10WZ

Just keep in mind, Amazon doesn't have the 10% coupon, so you are paying more if you go the Amazon route. But good to burn GC's if you have em I guess.

Any difference between cooking with this and bigger or smaller models? I typically use 2 cups uncooked rice for a family of 4 so this seems big although at a great price

I've had this model for over 10 years. My pot and aluminum lid are in dire need of replacement…and this deal is likely cheaper than buying those parts. Crazy

Found this model (Micom without the fuzzy logic) on Macy's for the same price minus 10% with the discount code: https://www.macys.com/shop/produc...ID=6794157

Is this Neuro Fuzzy and/or Micom better than an induction cooker? Always thought I read that IH was the most coveted?

How does it compare to this one?

Yes, but they won't be Neuro Fuzzy, if that matters to you. You can find them as Micom though.

There are smaller models than this one, but they don't have Neuro Fuzzy. There are larger versions as well, but not all have Neuro Fuzzy. If that matters to you, then that's the limitation. If you don't care about Neuro Fuzzy, then Micom will do just as good, just not as much variety presets.

There are smaller but they don't have the Neuro Fuzzy Logic. If that's ok with you then go for it! If not, then go for the Neuro Fuzzy.
