I went into the Best Buy outlet in Kennesaw, GA and they had an 83 LG OLED G2 there marked for $2599 in excellent condition. They also had 20% off all TVs. So final price was $2158.39. YMMV on the 83 inch G2.
The 20% off is through this weekend.

I was able to get an 83" LG C2 open box excellent condition with original packaging for $2,180 before taxes at the same Kennesaw, GA outlet. As OP stated, they had 20% off in addition to open box, they also appeared to apply a TV bundle discount for another ~$600 off even though I did not buy anything else. The 20% is in person only and ends 2/19.
The discount on 83" of ~$1,000 off new seems very good vs. the ~$200 off new for the 77" (both excellent open box prices).
Thank you OP for bringing sale to my attention.
I went when they opened on Saturday, they said they had no OLEDs. Saw it in the back and asked, they said it wouldn't be processed until Monday and to come back then. I called an hour before close and they said the tv was just processed and was available for sale. Went there and got it, glad I didn't wait until Monday.
No way to see inventory online right? 2 hours RT to the nearest outlet 🙁
You are able to see it, just need to select location. It is worth noting that this sale is for in person purchases. So you could run risk of it being bought while you are in transit to the outlet.

Does online pricing match in-store prices plus 20% ? Or is it totally different prices in-store?

The employee told me it was in store purchases only for the 20% additional discount. They specifically said to me that online purchases did not qualify.

Nice! I bought the last larger than 65 inch oled at Kennesaw on Friday. I am glad you got that one.
It was the same price that my g2 was priced at. Absolute great deal.
How many hours does your c2 have on it?

0, still has plastic film on it. It is missing plastic piece that connects the metal stand to tv. I'm mounting to wall, but excellent condition open box shouldn't have any major missing components.

Mine was listed as excellent and missing the actual wall mount which is one of the biggest selling points to the G series. I asked them to take more off because this was not in excellent condition but they said they could not do it. I still took the tv because of the incredible deal but I had to use an old wall mount to hang it.
I cant find any g83 brackets anywhere. Oh well.

Be very carefully buying a TV that has been a display model. TVs that have been in "store mode" can have a lot shorter life spans due to being over driven in contrast and saturation.

Simple hour check addresses this concern. Any store mount tv will have north of 500 hrs as they dont turn them off.
This is exactly what I told people would happen. Happens every year. I usually only buy open box TVs and only buy when Best Buy runs these open box promos. Maybe I'm just lucky but I live 2-3 miles away from a Best Buy outlet store. I will probably be in the market for another upgrade next year, can't justify replacing any of mine yet.., have bought too many TVs in the past 2 years
Open box 65 inch C1s just cratered in price. As low as $672 after the 20% off. I'm hoping the Dallas outlet gets some 77/83 inch OLEDs so I can upgrade from the 65C1 I bought a year ago.
