Not sure about the Aorus line but I had a 2022 AERO 16 and the design and built quality was terrible. Like they cut too much corners to keep the cost down while still having all the headlining parts

Is there any performance benchmarks on how this 4070 in this will perform vs a 3070 (laptop) in the Asus Rog laptop series?

Edit - looks like only 10-15% gains from a 3070 to a 4070. That's too bad, not worth upgrading with that small of a jump.

I have a gigabyte aero with a 1070 in it. It hasn't died, which is something, but I find the overall quality lacking, crappy keyboard, trackpad, speakers, fan noise is terrible… I wouldn't get a gigabyte version again and would try another brand next time.

Yeah I agree everything feels very "plastic like" which always made me concerned with the quality. Light bleed is a bit rough too on the display. But it's been running fine for 2 years so I guess it's good enough. Rtx 3070 model

Because it is new, only 2 people have ran a benchmark to their 4070, compared to the 44,850 to their 3070.

More people need to run a benchmark for the scores to become more accurate.

The 4080m beats the 3080 ti by 30%+. With frame generation and DLSS, it's over a 100% improvement in demanding games.
