With that said, my favorite combo to listen to music on is the S60B with W510 sub. You'd think that was the "bottom" of those listed setups. On the flip side, it is the worst with Dolby Atmos.
Point is, they all have strengths. This is a really nice device. Crystal high mids, a boomy sub, good wifi, a nice small remote, just pretty lacking on the mids. I "rebought" for my master where I wanted something discreet.
Edit: To clear up what I was getting at, this is essentially the same sub as the W510. For those wondering, I did try to pair the sub from S800B with the S60B thinking they were completely identical. It did not work.
I bought this once at $300 but returned it the first time. I had an additional $25 loyalty code this time so for $235 I'll give it another try.
My biggest issue was the lack of mids due to speaker/cabinet size. I have several other newer Samsung soundbars to compare to and I think that was the problem. Against larger models from the "B" lineup, you will be disappointed by the mids. You have to remember that this is intended for a space saving design.
Once I get this in the room I want it in, I am sure I will be happy but I cannot recommend this if a primary use case is also to listen to music regularly..

I'm looking mostly for the atmos experience which you mention is not too great.
Also it does seem super wide. π
I've been watching for deals on. q700-q800.
