I had bought several motherboards for builds on Black Friday week, I ended up putting the basic asus prime one in my own build, I like the asus bios, saying that by going with the lower end board the amount of USB hubs has been a bummer. I had to buy a USB hub. I bought the motherboard you listed which I paid more for, for my son, it looks good, had no issues and plenty of USB hubs, plus I like the RGB and style. Plenty of m2 slots, thanks

OP copied the Amazon listing, but Z690 (and B660) also support 13th gen, some will need bios updates before you can install 13th gen though. But this particular board has bios flashback, so you can just put your 13th gen CPU in, and put a USB drive with the new BIOS, and use the flashback function to update it.

If you are going to spend $300, get a z790 or current gen AMD board.
