maybe for collection purposes. I buy physical copies for the games I want in my collection. even if I already have it digitally, but I usually wait til its around $5-10.

For fun I paid to upgrade my essential and played a few games like Stray and Spiderman Miles Morales. Paid for itself right there.

That being said, when it expires, I'm not resubbing.

Isn't there a ps5 version of this game? The title is kinda misleading to say ps4/ps5 imo. Every ps4 game is ps5 game if you look at it.

There's a PS5 upgrade, which is free (I think?). But there's also a Director's Cut (which is basically DLC) and is $10 if you have the base game. At least this was all true when the Director's Cut dropped last year.

Essential is the best, the 2 higher tier is useless to me personally. People have backlog of games outside of a sub to even pay attention to it.
