Here we go again. Either you hold the lime for better price or buy now to be satisfied. Your money your choice.

My data says this was $384 in November. At this point, I'd wait for a crazy price or new generation midrange to release.

But I already made my purchase on the Zotac Refurbished sale, so I don't have a horse in this race.

The sooner the inventory of these old cards run out, the sooner AMD can launch the next-gen ones. Not a bad deal given the nice promo, but the performance/$ is still on the high side.

Buy if one needs it now, that'll help the rest who are waiting.

Inventory won't run out, their sitting on cards to keep price higher & their probably gonna charge $500+ for a 7700 or maybe $450 if their feeling charitable!

So tempting.....I'm still using a GTX 1070 which performs pretty well. Not sure it would be worth the upgrade for a some additional fps. I'd jump on it though if I was doing a new build.

That's exactly what they'll do if people keep paying these prices for them!

Same here. Although you can probably sell your 1070 for $80-$100 to offset the cost of a new GPU.

If you're coming from an older generation card (1070 upgrade here), make sure you measure the space available in your case and check that you have the correct power connection available. The newer cards are long and power hungry.

In for 1. Not bad price vs performance in my experience. 1st time buying GIGABYTE GPU however. Usually opt for MSI. I really used this graphic for cost comparison when i was choosing. https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...,4388.html
