If there is a Menards store nearby having an 11% off sale, HD also will honor 11% off. Not sketchy

This promotion is run by Home Depot every now and then to compete with the 11% Menards rebate.

It's real. It essentially matches Menards 11% rebate program so you must have a Menards nearby. I've used this site multiple times and although it can take months to get the rebate, they do eventually come.

I know this is for HD, but a story about Menards 11% rebate...friends of ours own a landscaping business and they have the contract for all central Ohio Menards stores for outdoor grass and mulch care.

During the 11% rebate time they go around the parking lot and grass areas picking up dropped or thrown away receipts prior to mowing then again once done. They do this at every store once or twice a week.

In the 2022 season alone, they picked up over $550,000 worth of receipts and submitted for the 11% rebate and they've been doing this for years.

They've paid for home additions, furniture, tools, whatever with their rebate money... And it doesn't count towards business income, but can count towards home improvement tax credits.

A lot of Dewalt exclusions in that list
Of course, because Menards does not carry DW or Ryobi or Ridgid. HomeDepot are not dumb.

Anyone know if the 11% rebate will work for a bundle such as this?

https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL.../203054755

The individual SKU's don't seem to be on the exclusion list.

I can't answer your question, sorry, but for that particular item you'd be better off buying from Amazon for $630 anyhow. BTW, I have that planer, it's great!

Don't count on it too much. The 11% rebate has been going on for a few years. It is hit or miss. There are a lot of exclusion for big ticket items. Read the fine print. I submitted a rebate for a $1500 water heater last Summer. They sent me a $1 rebate card. I called, they told me they sent me a $1 rebate card because I had a $50 discount at the store. I told them the manager marked $50 down because they screwed up at the store. Long story short, I was told because the water heater was discounted, they couldn't offer me the full 11% rebate. However, they couldn't explain why they sent me a $1 GC. I asked for a review, I didn't hear anything afterward. I wasted so much time on the phone with their India Customer Support Team, I gave up. So, don't buy anything because it has 11% rebate. Consider it is a bonus if you get the rebate. Menards is way more reliable on the rebate process.

I had no idea what a "menards" was, but still clicked on the link to see which HD's were near me that are participating in this deal. Now I know why I've never hear me of Menards. ☹️😭

"The 11% rebate is not valid on any purchases made with a discount..."

In my experience this means that a typical sale or clearance price is fine, but if the discount is something that involves another line item on the receipt, like your special discount or a military discount, then it'll get kicked out.

It doesn't go by state. It is only for Home Depot stores that have a competing Menards in the area and is only valid when Menards is doing their 11% rebate.

Glad to see it's back, I've used this a couple hundred times. Granted it's not a true 10% on total of other factors apply. Bulk discount, military discount, etc. Typically it feels like 6-7% to be honest. You can do a pickup in store, however it keys off an order number which will not work, if you talk to customer service and they are knowledgeable enough they can extract the true receipt number from the order. Ymmv.

Step 2, get an HD rebate.
Step 3, profit?
Most states that have Menards stores have a better than average quality of life.

Wisconsin, where they are headquartered, ranks 8th and Minnesota right next door is 2nd.
