Only issue is the short warranty.

Very tempting price.

Is losing the 3 year warranty that covers future burn-ins worth saving $345 though?

Great deal, 90-day warranty is scary. I tried looking up if VISA's extended 1 year warranty covers refurbished items, and most likely it doesn't cover. Someone reported it here using a Costco VISA card: https://www.mouseprint.org/2020/0...hed-items/

The DWF model has a pretty significant bug with HDR1000 and the 90 day warranty makes this a hard pass for me. Far too many quality control and burn-in issues reported with these.

What's the bug? And can it be fixed by an update maybe

Dell doesn't offer an extended warranty for purchase? When you buy a Dell computer/laptop they try to sell you an extended warranty non-stop!

Not for refurbs generally - they just want to wipe their hands clean from it.

For a first generation panel, forgoing the warranty iss a pretty high risk gamble IMO.

It has a 90 day limited warranty. I'm assuming you then lose the 3 year burn-in warranty of the non-refurb? That seems crazy to me.

I've got this monitor AMA.

It's good, not great. It's a little dim for my tastes and the HDR doesn't work great (needs a firmware update that's been taking forever). However, super fast response time, no ghosting, and vibrant colors.

I program on this as much as I game. The colors are weird on MacOS.

I'd be mindful of the warranty period on an OLED. It's 3yrs on a new one.

this is a crazy good deal. Been eyeing this monitor for awhile and just pulled the trigger. Have had dell refurbed monitors in the past and had no issues.
You realize this has a 90 day limited warranty so you lose the 3-year burn in warranty?

Anyone know if these use 1st gen or 2nd gen QDOLED panels from Samsung? Couldn't find any information on the spec sheet that would hint one way or another. Considering most reviews state it's basically the same as the DW but minus g-sync and cheaper, seems like a 1st gen panel?

First. Monitors with 2nd gen panels aren't out yet.

Very tempted. I have a gtx 3090, worth getting the gsync one or should this be fine?
