Are these good for yard work? (about 1 hour walking around grass, some light moisture exposure, yard debris flying around from mower)

Pretty sure no, since it says canvas uppers. The Terrex I have are Goretex upper and they say so on the upper and in the name. Mine have been water resistance almost all the way to the ankle. With these being "mesh" and canvas, I wouldn't expect any real water resistance past the midsole.
